    Late entries will be accepted with a late fee ($10) In the Livestock Office by 11 a.m., March 22, 2006.
  2. Arrival:

    1 p.m. prior to the Market Lamb show

  3. Entries are subject to the general rules.
  4. Registration papers are not required. Animals must be owned by December 31, 2005.
  5. All sheep will be clipped for show before arrival. There will be no shearing of sheep on the fairgrounds. No clippers or shears which must be plugged into an electrical outlet are allowed to be used on Breeding Sheep once they arrive on show grounds. Cordless clippers or manual shears are allowed.
  6. Any market lambs entering the breeding show must have a breeding entry turned in by 11 a.m., March 22, 2006, Wednesday. (A lamb with a valid market entry will not have to pay any additional fee to change to the breeding show.) Any animal entering the breeding sheep show ring with a market class validation tag in the ear will have the tag cut out and is INELIGIBLE for the Market Lamb classes and sale.
  7. All breeding sheep will be toothed on Wednesday, March 22, 2006, at 11 a.m. Exhibitor must be present. All animals will be shown as toothed.
  8. The breeds of Suffolks, Southdowns, Hampshires, and Dorsetts will be shown as individual breeds. All other breeds will be shown AOB.
  9. Sexually intact animals must have official USDA Scrapies Eradication Program Identification.
  10. The following are the classes for ewes:
    1. Ewe lambs (must have milk teeth)
    2. Two-teeth ewes
    3. Aged Ewes
  11. All breeds show together for the ram classes.
    1. Ram lambs
    2. Yearling rams and up
  12. Awards will be given to first through sixth place in class, Breed Champion and Reserve. Breed Champions will compete for Overall Grand and Reserve Champions. Grand Champion will receive $100 scholarship and Reserve will receive a $50 scholarship.
  13. All exhibitors will be allowed to show for showmanship.
    Divisions:
    Juniors — 11 and under
    Intermediates — 12 to 14
    Seniors — 15 and older as of Aug 31, 2005.
    Exhibitor must own and have shown animal in Breeding class.
